Tomorrow starts the WOMAN Challenge! It's not too late to join the ChronicBabes team
A special message from Editrix Jenni:
It's not too late! You can still join our team by visiting the WOMAN Challenge web site and registering, then joining the ChronicBabes Team (we're listed geographically under Illinois) and participating. We're going to get more fit together, and it's gonna rock!
Tomorrow we kick off the WOMAN challenge, and I'm really excited to have so many of you on my team. I'm traveling now and I forgot my pedometer, but i'm still psyched to get started. It's going to be fun!
Many of you have already signed up at our Facebook group, BUT here's the rub. If you didn't register at the official site of the challenge and then officially joined our team (you have to search for us under the Illinois state listing) then YOU'RE NOT REALLY TAKING THE WOMAN CHALLENGE. Sorry to raise my voice, but you gotta sign up, Babes!
Of course, you can still get fit and follow our Facebook group—don't get me wrong. I just want you to take advantage of all the tools you get when you're an official member.
So, once you sign up, you can download your welcome packet and get acquainted. Then you'll want to visit "my activity" and start adding your weekly activity goals. I'm starting with 20 minutes per day for the first day, and later I'll increase to 10,000 steps, just as an example. To help our team make its goal, you MUST log your activity each week. I'll send you handy reminders. :)
Then you can follow our progress and see how we're doing. Even if you don't get in your exercise every day, you should still log any that you can—that way, you're helping us "cross the country."
